Truly a night to remember! I was honored to attend and photograph this elegant New Year’s Eve celebration hosted by CL Carr and Alicia Oden. The festivities took place at the 1886 Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas with food and entertainment provided throughout the entire hotel. Decor design and implementation was provided by Amy and Kenny Redmond of The Vintage Soul Events. It is difficult to find the words to describe the elegance in every detail of the decor. Touches of gold to be found everywhere. Guests were treated to a grand selection of hors d’oeuvres, a giant charcuterie display, and bar in the Conservatory Room while local musician Kurt Hunter performed songs reminiscent of the 1920’s. A photo “booth” complete with a huge Crescent moon lured guests to try a “selfie” 1920’s style. An exquisite dinner buffet was served in the Crystal Dining Room while a live band entertained guests and provided music for dancing into the night. Guests who wished to participate could retire to the outdoor cigar lounge under the gazebo or find their way to the very secretive Speakeasy where they could find libations and card games. In addition, a fortune teller was present in a secluded area downstairs for those who wished to know the future.

The Melonlight Ballroom Dancers performed several different dance routines throughout the night in the dining room, keeping guests entertained between sets of music from the band.
