Ben + Katie

During our first phone conversation I realized that Ben and Katie and I had a lot in common. They are both accomplished at mapping caves and have a great deal of experience in the outdoors. Absolutely my kind of people. These two are so relaxed and fun to be around. We had a great time a few days before the wedding just hanging out and taking photos of them as a couple out around the Buffalo River area. You could never tell that they had been camping and caving the night before. Ben does a lot of research and study of natural springs so it was no surprise that their wedding was held at Blue Spring, just west of Eureka Springs.
Katie and her girls prepared for the wedding day at the historic Pearl Tatman House in Eureka Springs which also made a picturesque location for their first look and a few formal portraits.
The ceremony took place right beside the giant spring during a very lovely afternoon in late October with a dinner reception at the Inn of the Ozarks Convention Center.
